Nestled in the Louise/Louisa area of Brussels, this cosy hotel is a comfortable spot to retire for the day. The friendly and helpful staff add to the overall experience. The Scandinavian inspired deco is clean, chic and is an instagrammable spot in itself. Thank you, Christina and Latifa at the front desk for making our stay so hygge.

I first made the reservation when I thought I would be picking up a friend at the Brussels airport, it turns out she was arriving at Brussels/Charleroi which is an hour south and therefore wouldn’t have been able to get into the hotel until after restaurants, etc. had been closed. I discovered this messaging with the hotel, they were very nice but once I mentioned, would it be possible to cancel without being charged, given the circumstances and that I had just made the reservation just 12hrs earlier, they didn’t even have the decency to reply.

Nice hotel in a quieter street. Minimalist style decor, very clean and helpful staff on reception. 20 minute walk into city centre down the hill, but there is a metro station at the end of the street so easy to get around. Couple of good local cafes and bars nearby as well as high end shops. Only 4 stars because the shower in the room was pretty badly designed and we managed to soak the bathroom on the first day! Also no air-con so the room was a bit warm at night during middle of August. Otherwise we really enjoyed staying here and felt very safe as two female travellers.

A hotel focussed on smelling nice. Room (5) small, very hot and no AC. Bath good, plenty HW, shower rubbish. And my absolute hate, sink with a plug that doesn’t work. Towels like paper. Very expensive for what you get.
